You may recall that ADO16.info was recently invited to look at a 1972 Vanden Plas Princess over at Mathewsons Classic Cars, which has recently undergone a full restoration. For those not in the know, Mathewsons is central to the popular TV programme “Bangers & Cash” which airs on the TV station “Yesterday Channel“.
The car went through auction at Mathewsons on the 4th February 2022, and we’re delighted to report that it achieved a final price of £12,250 – as far as we’re aware, a record for an ADO16.

We were asked what we thought the car could achieve in auction, and our estimate was between £8,800 and £10,000.
