2026 is Nearly Here… and We’re Heading Back to the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show!

And this isn’t just any show for us. Back in March 2017, the Restoration Show was the very first event ado16.info officially exhibited at, so returning always feels a little bit like going back to where it all began. Add in the fact that this weekend is widely seen as the true ‘season opener’ for the UK classic car scene, and you can probably imagine the smiles already forming here at ado16.info HQ.

This year you’ll find us in Hall 5, Stand 815 — so pop that in your diary (or scribble it on a Post-it note and stick it to the kettle, if that’s your system… we don’t judge).

When’s It On

📍 NEC Birmingham

Three days of classics, stories, tools, oily rags, new friends, and familiar faces. If you’ve never been before, the show’s own short video (below) is a brilliant whistle-stop tour in just over two minutes — and it really captures the atmosphere perfectly.

The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show has a very particular kind of magic. It’s not just about polished cars under bright lights — it’s about projects in progress, shared knowledge, friendly encouragement and the slightly chaotic joy of keeping old cars going.

And as always, we’ll do our very best to make the ado16.info stand a proper hub for ADO16 conversation, enthusiasm, nostalgia and discovery. Whether you’ve owned your car forever, just bought one, or simply want to say, “My dad had one of those,” you’ll be very welcome. We’re still finalising our plans — but expect warmth, conversation, and the odd surprise along the way.
