Happy New Year! – Let’s make 2021 the best yet…

Happy New Year! 2021

Happy New Year! Thank you for your continued support of the club during very challenging times.

Whenever I put fingers to keys, I always take a moment to see what I wrote last year, and our “up to date” position… This year, that’s an interesting proposition.

Due to COVID restrictions across the world, we’ve had little in the way of events, our two key UK indoor events were cancelled, with the Restoration Show being postponed, initially until March, then moved back to June.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom. There are a number of positives to report from a club perspective:

  • Membership continues to grow, and remains healthy.
  • The website has seen its busiest year in the last 5. We’ve had more hits across the whole world than ever before – including countries where previously we were unaware of any ADO16 presence.
  • Our content has grown again this year – and we have more to add over the course of the next 12 months.
  • Social Media still remains the way you like to keep in touch with us.

So, what does 2021 hold in store for us? I guess, we’ll just have to wait and see…

Wherever you are, and whether you are a member or not – thank you for your support in what has been a very challenging year!

Thank you!

Michael's interest in cars started from an early age, when he would spend time in his Dad's garage observing many a job being undertaken. Naturally as Michael grew up, cars were firmly a part of his DNA, and as such the interest has gone from strength to strength. Having always had a keen interest in all things British, it probably wouldn't surprise you to know that his portfolio of cars have always been British made.
